  For a week of skiing I can vouch that it will cost less, flights included, than Cairngorm and it will be far more rewarding. We will definitely avoid Aviemore and instead look at The Lecht or Glencoe in future. It's a shame for the rest of the Aviemore businesses but Cairngorm is now just not viable as a skiing destination.1/5(K).   There are five outdoor ski resorts in Scotland: CairnGorm Mountain, Glencoe Mountain, Glenshee, Nevis Range and The Lecht.
